In 2015, Game of Thrones broke the record at the 67th Emmy Awards and won 12 awards, including best drama, director, screenwriter and male support. In 2016, it was selected as the Top Ten Series of the Motion Picture Institute of America. In 2018, he won the 70th Emmy Award for Best Series. In September 2019, the play was selected by the Guardian as the 100 best TV series of the 21st century, ranking seventh.
